Meet Ken Jensen: Author, Speaker, Entrepreneur
Ken Jensen is the author of
"It Takes Guts To Be Me: How An Ex-Marine Beat Bipolar Disorder"
and creator of the system
"TORQUE BACK",
which is the very same set of steps he used on himself to overcome his illness and keep it gone for good.
Ken's life has been one of extremes. Right or wrong, he never went small or halfway. At different times in his life, it wasn't easy to distinguish whether this was due to his illness or just a hallmark of his innate character traits. As he learned during his search for permanent wellness, there is a difference. The understanding of this is the prime driver of how he overcame bipolar disorder.
He did so well that all around him begged him to write his story so that others might achieve the same peace and freedom from bipolar and addictions that he had. The success of the book and the changes Ken had to bring about in his mind and heart to achieve it, led to an entirely new way of life.
He maintains a website and consulting practice for those who need help beating bipolar. But others have been drawn to him for reasons having nothing to do with the book's topic. They have perceived a skill set Ken himself was not even aware that he had. New businesses and friendships have emerged on a level of play more befitting one who needs a richer and more intense lifestyle than most around him.
Always a risk-taker, Ken now does so with calculated planning and the support of an ever-growing network of mentors, associates, friends, and teammates that wish for him to succeed as badly as he does. This is something Ken has longed to replace in his life since leaving the best example of it behind him in the Marine Corps, almost twenty years ago. He found it and in doing so, he finally found what makes him tick.
Ken Jensen lost his family, his three-story house, his two brand new cars, his fully stocked gym, all of his money, his job(s), his freedom (felon), his sanity, a number of friends, and no small amount of pride and honor due to bipolar disorder. The illness stripped him of everything of value.
He fought his way back to zero and then went on to excel, something he had never intended nor dared hope was possible. He rebuilt his family, put them in the nicest home any of them had ever seen and is rebuilding the tangible assets in his life.
He has designed one complete business and is building a second, in a totally unrelated field. He seeks out mentors, people who are where he wants to be, asks questions a little and listens a lot. He has partners, people whose lives and welfare are inextricably bound to his actions, who trust and depend on him as much as he does them.
During his bipolar years his physical being was decimated from dususe, eating wrong, smoking, chewing tobacco, and eating meds of all sorts and for all sorts of reasons. Now he is fit, the strongest he's ever been in some areas, and he's fully rehabbed the parts of his body that will never be mighty again but need to be functional.
Currently in his 40's, Ken Jensen is entering his prime in all ways. And he wants to help you do the same or at least gain the same foundation that gave him back his sanity. You deserve to be where he is and you can be, in whatever form that takes. Believe it!
